Where did you see any hints of that? They explicitly state that orcs will now be like Papuans. Everything is geographically and ethnically justified, but why make the orcs like that? This is no longer fantasy. It's like when bird-handed creatures appeared in Perumov's "Ring of Darkness." It's like disfiguring Middle-earth. Here, it's almost the same, but the disfigurement is of higher quality.
And where did you see fantasy in the Heroes games in the first place? Maybe it was there in the third game, but not in the subsequent parts.
