Where did you see any hints here? They explicitly state that orcs will now be like Papuans. Everything is geographically and ethnically justified, but why make the orcs like that? This is no longer fantasy.

First, no one specifically said that the orcs became like Papuans, but the islands they inhabit speak for themselves, and so does their appearance (these are the hints). Secondly, you're wondering why the orcs were made this way; the answer is obvious from the history of Ashan: the orcs gained power on the islands (including the island of Paao), and therefore their appearance needed to be changed. And also, I understand that everyone has their own opinion, but can orcs still be taken for reality? No, then they are part of fantasy, so judge accordingly.
