Where did you see these hints? We are explicitly told that the orcs will now be like Papuans. Everything is geographically and ethnically justified, but the question is, why make the orcs like this? This is no longer fantasy.
It's like when bird-handed creatures appeared in Perumov's "Ring of Darkness." It's like disfiguring Middle-earth. Here, it's almost the same, but the disfigurement is of higher quality.
