What is the child wrong about? Regarding the lack of reciprocity - let me explain. Personal feelings are not true love...

Why can only mutual feelings (love - which is a feeling?) be called love? Let's take, for example, any other feeling (emotion - which are synonyms?) - let's say, joy. If a person experiences joy and is the only one on the entire planet (abstractly) experiencing it, it will still be a genuine and complete feeling, not requiring any reciprocity, etc. Why, then, if a person experiences love (not turning into a desire to possess, etc.), is it an incomplete feeling that needs reciprocity to be complete? I'm very curious to hear an explanation. I'm looking forward to it.
