I enjoy playing without relying on overly optimized strategies, where a single morale trigger instantly leads to a game over. I prefer a game where you have to consider a wider range of circumstances: if you need to deploy angels but are worried about morale, then you need to put in more effort and find a hero with the right tactics. Instead of mindlessly killing neutral creatures on autopilot, wasting only your own time, it's when a difficult battle results in 1-2 morale triggers and an unexpected situation arises that skill truly matters, not when there's no morale at all and nothing dangerous can happen. Of course, sometimes this can lead to a loss, but that's where the adrenaline comes from :D
After researching the history of the game, including information about Chaos tournaments, and considering the current "cultural peculiarities" of the Heroes world, I've come to the conclusion that a game without morale and a group stack is simply degradation.
Undoubtedly, Warlords has many advanced features that are very useful, cool, and necessary.
But, it's not the same as the old system with "commanders" (c) experience and tax, but without morale. IMHO

When I want balance, I play chess; when I want to play for fun, I play Heroes.
And no Warlords with symmetrical maps can create perfect balance here.
Although I'm generally more in favor of Warlords than SoD, I play SoD more often because most people are used to the "lame" old settings.
За то что нейтралы не бегают за единичкой, для меня это уже стоит того
