There are quite a few historical misconceptions in our everyday lives, both about fascism and other phenomena.
Yesterday, I took some silly test just for fun. The creators claimed they could guess the religion closest to my spirit. I expected to be identified as an agnostic, or at worst, a pagan, but it turned out I'm 100% a Satanist...

Before you get horrified and scream in terror, research what Satanism actually is. Most Satanists don't kill cats or destroy graves, and they don't actually believe in the existence of Satan as a person. The philosophy of Satanism usually focuses on human self-development, rather than dedicating oneself to serving some god or gods. Satanists do not recognize external moral laws, supposedly given to us from above.

Either I skipped philosophy class in college, or they didn't tell us the whole story. :)
