Dogbas (Blue, Tower, Aine, Sielle) def VahTank (Red, Fortress, Wystan, Wystan), 2SM4d(3), 232.
Roads were slow, terrain rugged, I took the wood mine around 222.
Territory was huge, there were 3 Hives, 4 Griffin Conservatories, a Dragon Utopia, 3 external dwellings of gremlins, an external dwelling of mages, an external dwelling of genies.
Sielle arrived immediately — a super-mage in a magic town!
Start was tough — on the only road a horde of vampire lords blocks movement, guarding the Dragon Utopia, forcing me to run through the snow, no tempo. So by 117 I could only build 1, 2, 3, 4 in the fort, but I broke out to the earth respawn. On the second (week) I took a secondary Dungeon, doubled my mana, good. Distances were enormous. I had to create 4 small combat groups for clearing territory. By week 4 I took 4 Griffin Conservatories for 8 angels. At the start of month 2, 2 Dragon Utopias with artifacts for +10 to everything and the Orb of the Firmament. While I was handling everything, the opponent captured the Dungeon, killed 4 helpers, and came to the snow, where the final battle took place: Sielle (21 18 26 21) 8 angels, 9 titans, 18 master genies, 22 crystal nagas, 40 mage genies vs. Wystan (13 12 18 12) 4 angels, 10 chaos hydras, 16 master genies, 17 mighty gorgons, 40 vampire lords.
Thanks for the game.
It happened. Such a painful loss. I had leveled up the hero's stats about one and a half times better. I took the (maxi) Dragon Utopia earlier, but it gave me such crrrap: 2 artifacts +10 to Attack (Knowledge) and -2 to Knowledge (Attack), a Firebook, and a medal lowering capitulation cost. In short, I geared a warrior in mage gear...
I had hope for the second Dragon Utopia near the opponent's secondary, but he saw I was rushing there strategically and cleared it a day before me. From the 2 Dragon Utopias he got artifacts totaling +10 to all stats, which I think decided the entire game. In the final battle, the paper doll had nothing in either hand.
Thanks for the game.
P.S.: We dragged it on a bit. :)
