I'm in!
Add me to the list, and I'll start working on the rules...

Suggestions:

1. Considering the complete lack of difference between difficulty levels 4 and 5 in the game (don't tell me that a small amount of resources fundamentally changes anything on the L-map, because the computer plays absolutely the same way on the last three levels – and the only difference is in the starting amount of resources...), I suggest combining them into one category and calling it the Highest League, and all saves will be generated at difficulty level 5. That is, there will simply be no difficulty level 4.

2. Similarly, levels 2 and 3 are quite close. They can also be combined (adjusted to difficulty level 3 – the "Bishop" level) and called the First League. (The names are, of course, conditional – we are only talking about the idea itself; the details can be discussed later).

3. We won't even consider the easiest level (difficulty level 1) – third-level heroes have been around for seven years, and it's doubtful that anyone is afraid to play on the "Bishop" level these days...

4. It is not permissible to allow entries in different categories – this is a flawed practice. The winner in the Highest League can easily make a copy of their playthrough and send it to the First League... There should be only one entry, and everyone can independently assess their qualifications beforehand. I am sure that most will play in the Highest League – simply because the tournament will be between players, not between a player and the computer. And in this case, what difference does it make which save to start with if everyone is initially in equal conditions?

The main goal is to reduce the number of categories, because it will be funny to see a winner in a category with only one participant. And that's exactly what will happen... :) And it's very doubtful that such a certificate of achievement will be hung on the wall by the winner :)

The value of victory must be tangible. And for the future ranking, it is still better to have a minimum number of categories; otherwise, the ranking will not be objective...

5. Honestly, dividing into categories based on the starting save level is not entirely correct... This changes little for the game. A more preferable option would be to divide into a General League (playing for points) and a Blitz League (playing for days), while the save is the same for everyone. And let it be on the "Bishop" level, it is completely irrelevant. Here, each participant will decide what is easier for them – to run around the map, defeat the opponent, and finish the game as quickly as possible (Blitz) or visit all the obelisks, dig up the Grail, capture the maximum number of cities – all this to get as many points as possible (General League)...

IMHO, as always.
