The situation was as follows: since I had problems with Hamachi, I suggested playing on GameRanger. And that's when, during the game, the opponent supposedly got an error almost every time after passing the turn, and the save wouldn't load, it would freeze. Only my turn would load. After at least an hour and a half, we decided to try finishing the game via Hamachi (thankfully, it seems to be working now, but still, no one is pinging there for some reason). There were no problems with passing the turn after that.

Here's the save file for the game. It's a bit messy, in the sense that the last turn was made by the computer because I didn't bother to set up a program to automatically save the game each day...
