Sacred Haven of Debauchery

I took a walk outside. It's still snowing, and there are huge snowdrifts, it's amazing. I hope it stays like this until New Year's, so I can play in them.
So, I was walking, and a dog from the neighboring yard started following me. It walked with me for a while, and then suddenly disappeared. The main thing is, I'm walking, and it's following me. I stop, and it stops too, sitting and looking at me, and I'm looking at it. I start walking again, I stop again, and we look at each other. This went on for a while, and then I don't know where it went. So, it only took one look for the dog to start following me. I'm quite the druid, and you said I wasn't.
