what is sports? I won't say :) competitions turn into sporting events! Large-scale and universally accepted, they are recognized as permissible competitions in various fields of human activity. There will come a time when esports will be more than just one thing. (many games will be imbued with the spirit of competition, and not just Counter-Strike and Battlefield will be popular alongside war games...)

Playing commentators would be interesting and educational.

It's not sports that are beneficial, but physical exercise.
