Nah, I don't think so... I've watched many games by Alex and Stinger – a large portion of the time is spent on planning the turn's management. With such a moderate reduction in the limit, I'm not sure they will perform as well. It will depend more on the ability to quickly assess the situation and click the mouse quickly, plus the choice of faction, what guards you encounter, and who makes fewer mistakes. I'm not saying that such a time limit shouldn't exist, but these won't be the same heroes we love. It's like blitz tournaments in chess.
You haven't seen everything; there are other lost elements, for example: before the introduction of the script that identifies an artifact when you right-click on it, if only a part of the artifact was visible due to the terrain, and based on the visible fragment, options would appear suggesting it resembled something very useful, but it was located in a difficult-to-reach place – during a game in the editor, a similar terrain fold would be recreated, and then all similar artifacts would be placed there one by one in an attempt to determine what the artifact was and whether it was worth going after. Those who haven't seen anything like this have missed out on a lot; sometimes, the process of such research was just as interesting as what was happening directly in the game. But so far, I haven't seen any requests to Asmodeus to remove the script from the game.
