New Year's is always depressing; there's no need to even talk about it. Fairy tales, miracles, wishes... it's all nonsense.

Speak for yourself. For me, New Year's is sacred. Just because you can't have a fun time celebrating it in real life doesn't mean that the holiday is terrible overall.
