As planned, I started a playthrough with a Paladin. You've made the late-game class skill acquisition levels too difficult. When playing as a Paladin, I obtained the first level of "Runic Stone" at level 4!!! I was playing on normal difficulty and picked up two runes lying on the ground. At the same time, I also managed to learn Order magic (2 spirit runes). So, class skills are a significant argument for choosing a hero. Although the leadership reduction for a Warrior is perhaps the most useless thing :(.
And the starting "Resurrection" for the Paladin is a nice bonus :). Sometimes it's useful to resurrect ten swordsmen or a hundred peasants.
