Chechnya didn't turn out to be stronger; they simply brought in young boys, 18 years old, and left them there. And when special forces arrived with their clean-up operations, Chechnya rushed to the UN, saying, "How can they mistreat the civilian population, and please stop it immediately..." There were a few clean-up operations, followed by helicopter and mortar bombardments. And all that remained of the formidable Chechen army were Arab mercenaries, who were paid with fake dollars, and some field commanders in caves, with those dollars.
