There are practically no honest people among the high-ranking officials. How can we talk about honesty when such large sums of money are involved? And the fact that as a result of building this gas pipeline, we may lose the Altai region first, and then all of Siberia in a few years, doesn't seem to bother anyone. Thinking about the future is so boring and uninteresting. But getting a lot of money right now is certainly wonderful.
Now I want to become a separatist even more, so that my fate is not decided by some guys from Moscow and St. Petersburg.
