It was a lousy game, nothing but frustration. The start was simply magnificent — Ciele captures a prison behind the Obsidian Gargoyles, and there's Zhenka leveled in Archery and Scouting, who kills the Dwarf Cottage mini right away. Then Ciele clears the Medusa Hut level 4 without any trouble, plenty of gold and then some. I decided if I find a good hero, I'll keep playing, and on the ninth try Clavius showed up, and the university offers Earth... Turns out there are only two roads: the GO and the Ice Spirits on the grass, already sour news — Kyrre will grab all the secondary skills quickly. I did find another passage to the grass leading to a conflux (judging by the external dwelling), behind a horde of dwarves — well, that's fine and dandy, but it turned out to be 5 stacks of 19 each with morale like devils; in short, I couldn't navigate it, and my mood was already in the negatives. I bought the Papa, equipped him with Swordsmen and Cavaliers + a couple of dwarves left over from the third hero — down with the Ice Spirits, the Cavaliers finished the job on their last hits, and the Swordsmen backed them up. The Rampart secondary hero took out the external dwelling of Swordsmen at home and built Cavaliers in the Citadel. The skeleton army was gathered through the same place where my mood had gone — the Cavaliers allowed fighting without losses, but all stacks were filled with single units, and several hordes and hundreds of neutrals vanished into thin air :). Papa headed straight for the Griffin Conservatory; upon arrival, he had 5 Cavaliers, 19 Crusaders, and a hundred Skeletons. The Griffin Conservatory was 3-4... Even though I had many heroes, I felt bad sending them to scout — I went in as I was, and the Conservatory was max... Lost 2 Cavaliers, half the Skeletons, and Crusaders. By the end of the week, I killed the Naga Bank, the Dwarf Cottage, and another Griffin Conservatory (+2): Angels in the Castle. At the start of week 3, I decided to attack the under-GO (the Bone Dragon lot) and, on a whim, escalate the situation, maybe Kyrre hadn't fattened up in the treasure zones yet. Then a bug happened with the gray Castle, the faction with GO breakthrough obviously gave itself away — I had to roll back, and my mood sank even further. Mistakes started piling up (I couldn't manage the Pahan in time, forgot to review the turn, etc.), which ended with Clavius getting caught with only Angels inside the castle. He was just about to head into the treasure zone for Shackles of War and other surprises but was simply thrown away. Thanks for the game.
