Мафия 23. The Rockland tavern

So, regarding the events of the night: Hostor was killed by the Maniac. Hostor himself came to Neyra for some purpose. Judging by the description, Hostor was playing the role of some kind of girl. And in the game, we have the following female characters: Sorceress, Paladin, Maid, Tavern Keeper's Daughter, Mercenary. Host couldn't have been the Maid or the Tavern Keeper's Daughter, because they don't have Night Duty, and Host visited Neyra that night. Therefore, it turns out that Host was one of these: Sorceress, Paladin, or Mercenary.

The remains of Xostor lay in the corridor, not far from Neyra Drake's door. Some of them had turned to ash, but most were simply charred. From the remaining remains, it could be said that the poor fellow did not die from fire, but was hacked to pieces, and clearly with great cruelty.

From this, it follows that Host was first killed with particular cruelty by the Maniac, and then, for some reason, his remains were also burned.

What if he was chosen as a victim by both the Maniac and the Mafia?

A very interesting option. I'm thinking, what if the Maniac really killed Host first, and then the Mafia (probably a Black Mage or Warlock) came and burned his remains. According to the turn order, the Warrior goes first, and only then the Black Mage/Warlock. Clue about Host's killer:

A fragment of a blade lay nearby, and further away from it was a piece of cheap paper, on which were depicted Brondees and a giant fiery mushroom in the background. On the other side of it was some text in an unknown language.

The clue too obviously points to Kyle. But I don't like the fact that this clue is "too obvious." Kyle was checked. A Ranger apparently visited Dariel. Happy got drunk with the brewer. Happy, why drink so much that you end up crawling on all fours? :D
