Correct me if I'm wrong: the rebellion was organized by Kunyak, and he is not a descendant of the royal family.

Kunyak led the rebellion that brought freedom to the orcs in the 5th part, i.e., 400 years later. The first rebellion, however, failed. After a series of brutal battles, the orcs were defeated. The survivors scattered in all directions, including to the southern deserts, the northeastern steppes, and the eastern Border Islands. The orcs who ended up on the islands could have encountered nagas there. So, the first leader of the "failed rebellion" could very well have been a descendant of the royal bloodline.
