Could have put up a fight if I managed to shove the cavaliers in the castle instead of them with the griffins. The very first Naga Bank at 20 proved the strategy wrong — the cavaliers didn't finish off mobs with a few health points left and came out pretty battered, out of the normal army only marksmen, in short you couldn't even go into the hives, of which there were plenty.
Had to rework the strat around home angels and cavaliers in the Citadel plus an external dwelling in the Rampart village. On the last day I got very lucky — found a Naga Bank and a gnome dwelling and managed to build up without even going into debt.
Momentum is lost irretrievably, but 8 angels, almost 40 ducks with 2 unclaimed hives and 4 Dragon Utopias are somewhat pleasing to the eye. I was just about to take them when Loreley hit me where I thought she couldn't reach.
