Soon, Tallinn and his army reached the battlefield, which was littered with the corpses of orcs and elves. They found a few surviving elves, as well as their general, Hidel. He lay next to the bodies of the orcs, surrounded by many who had fallen by his sword. The princess rushed to her general, hugged him, and began to cry. The elf's eyes opened, and he began to speak. It turned out that reinforcements had arrived for the orcs, and after that, the elves had no chance. But they managed to retrieve the gold. The elf Sizzal, with her squad, retreated south, taking it with her. However, the orcs pursued them, while Rakshas himself went west. Then the general beckoned Tallinn and asked him to take care of the princess. Tallinn could not refuse and promised the dying elf that he would protect her at the cost of his own life. After that, the general died, and the princess continued to cry. Tallinn hugged her, and they sat like that for a while. The princess said that Hidel had protected her since birth, and she had sent him to his death. While these two were sitting, the others helped the wounded and prepared for the pursuit. When everything was ready, the princess decided to take command of the elves. And together they set off south to save Sizzal and the gold from the orcs. All night the warriors marched, and in the morning they caught up with the orcs, who were already fighting with the elves. Sizzal asked what had happened to Hidel and received a sad answer. "If it weren't for him, we would all be dead," she said proudly of her friend. While he held back the orcs, the others managed to retreat with the gold to the south and take refuge in the ruins. "For Hidel!" Sizzal shouted, and the elves rushed into battle, followed by everyone else. The battle ended quickly, and finally having retrieved their gold, Tallinn and his army headed after Rakshas.
