As it turned out, Clavius put on the red orb for nothing, since he had Mass Slow and Tazik didn't. Thanks for a tense game!
Started on the surface, which is already very good for a Necro. One road is blocked by bears, the second leads to the swamp, but the home respawn is large and there is room to maneuver. I was one cell short of getting vision of 113, but decided to play — among the pluses are 2 external skeleton dwellings — but cons and wood (spotted from vision) are not visible and very far behind the block. The next day I saw that a significant part of the map is in the swamp and there's a high probability the opponent has their own secondary dwelling.
I break through to the basement via off-road; on my home territory, I clear the Necromancer's cloak along a chain + spotted cons. In the basement, we capture the dungeon; money is kind of... tight, so I only put liches in the citadel and external vampire dwellings.
On the second week, life improves: Gretchen arrives and 60 free bones are very pleasing :) Sandro takes skeletons and goes to the swamp, maybe there's something there; Clavius gets liches + vampires with expert necromancy and clears the home respawn. In the swamp is a dwarf nest; I hoped for max, but it turned out to be 15 dwarves. There are already 250 bones at the start of the second week; I decide to push through to 19 manticores — it takes too long to ride around them through the swamp, plus roads are slow and without anything, Necro movement is very slow. The manticores were positioned cleverly :D and killed about 60 skeletons. I didn't go far into the swamp; I took another shield +4 and sword +3 (to the existing sword +2/2 and shield +3) and Sandro was defeated. Clavius mowed down nearly 100 bones, passed everything to the "loser". At the start of the 3rd week, some zero-necromancy Necro took a tier-3 con along a chain — immediately upgraded necromancy and expert logistics. Clavius takes horses and goes to mow down the home respawn; Sandro went to the treasure zone with the main force, and the third necro with liches went to explore the swamp. I made a mistake here, of course — should have given the cloak to Clavius... what is he doing with it in the treasure zone, although it worked quite well there too. In general, Sandro took 2 max hives and a Dragon Utopia with a shield +4 all and red orb. Clavius killed everyone and was defeated in the dungeon on the way to another, as it turned out, adjacent treasure zone. There, on the 4th week, I decided to appoint Clavius as the "folder"... somehow the mage was leveling up weakly — you can't take mages as folders for Necros. In the treasure zone: Dragon Utopia with beads +3 all and a flask + right there behind the giants is the third component of the elixir :smile08:
In short, I thought I was far ahead and paid for it. Of course, putting on the sphere was a mistake; after Mass Slow, bones killed everyone — but I didn't know what magic the opponent had
Thanks for the game! :(
