In Might and Magic, everything except the 8th picture is in the Treasure. I don't remember in Might & Magic VI, they gathered in different zones - but I'm more than sure that the guard doesn't depend on the location.

It definitely depends.

Take, for example, Pandora with the Hive behind the Storms. On the starting map, it falls into the 10K-15K range, we subtract the Hive (9K) and get a range for Pandora = 1K-6K, that is, a very small amount, it doesn't even reach 5K experience (6500) (although in practice it still can drop).

But if it's a Treasure, then we get into the 10K-20K range, so the range for Pandora becomes 1K-11K, here there are significantly more options.
