Which new units did you like in World of Xeen?

1v1, the Supreme Archangel is the strongest, there's no arguing that. In a mass battle, either dragons (excluding the Blood Dragon) or hydras will deal more damage. Phantom creatures, sacred phoenixes, and blood dragons are relatively inexpensive. Each has its own advantages, but the Archangel with double resurrection is still the best, in my opinion.
