Sorry, I don't participate myself, but it seems very strange to give the winner a +30% chance of winning. Alex and DeepMike probably don't need that. I've never heard of anyone playing with such a handicap, except maybe in one of Baev's tournaments, where role-playing players gave the same handicap to newcomers.
Let's put it in numbers: let's assume that players of the same level made it to the final (it's the final, after all). The chance of winning against the winner: 62.5% for the loser, 37.5%. And that's assuming that the loser's skill is still slightly lower.
