I also know some techniques, like "open the save file and quickly change the game settings while the opponent is dealing with the issue of transferring the game to 84%" or "open the save file in another Heroes game in two windows while the opponent is taking their turn."
I recommend saving every day so that in case of suspicion after the game, there is an opportunity to see what and how happened. Although in our case, we were lucky with the save.
Everything is based on fair play; it's a matter of morality.
