Patch 3.1 – we’ve been waiting for it.

Hello everyone! I'm installing the patch, but it says the game is not installed, even though everything looks fine in the registry. I even reinstalled the game, but it didn't help. Please explain to this newbie what to do. Thank you in advance. :)

This problem occurs if the game is not a licensed copy. You cannot install a patch on a pirated version. Another option is that the installer cannot find the game. This may be due to the game being installed in a different folder (not the default one). You can try opening the installer as an archive and changing the path to the game in one of the files. But, in theory, this shouldn't be a problem.

Personally, I didn't really like the patch. For example, remember the attack of the Daughters of Earth: four strikes, three for the animation, and the last one for calculating the damage. In 3.1, the first three strikes are simply ignored by the attacked unit (the injury animation is not played). The same was done for Furies and some other units with a long attack animation. In addition, in the second mission of the Orcs Campaign, an infinite number of "turquoise" heroes appear. In the final mission, you cannot stop the heroes who are running towards the demon cities; they take away 900 Cyclops from Gotay :(. Therefore, I reinstalled the game, which removed the patch. But it's a matter of personal preference. I only install it to play online.
