Well, since the orcs have fled, they shouldn't be coming back anytime soon. And there's no one to chase after them anyway, since there are no mages. Although, we could come up with a story about the orcs and make the mages neutral for now, so the orcs would flee from them or the orcs would take territory from a new faction and then settle there.
