Lamassu (Akkadian), Lama (Sumerian)
"In Sumerian-Akkadian mythology, a benevolent goddess – a patron and protector. Lama is the bearer of a person's identity, possibly related to the cult of the placenta. It was believed that every person had their own Lama."
Initially depicted as a winged lion with a human (male!) head and five legs (two left front legs, one of which is hidden behind the right leg when viewed from the side), in the later period – as a standing winged human.
The Sphinx resembles a bone dragon; it's the same creature, just with a different appearance. It seems to have the same debuffs.
