Sphinxes are in the fifth game – they still ask riddles. Perhaps they got tired of watching all this chaos, and they decided to participate in it personally. :)

Then, most likely, they fought first, and then, seeing that it was useless, they waved their paws at everything and turned to stone :D.

The sphinx and the bone dragon have wings, their bones are visible, and they are both dead. Even if the similarity is remote, it exists :). In general, the sphinxes from the "sixth" game resemble the manticore from the "fifth." Therefore, probably,

In life, the bones of the Sphinx are very similar to the bones of a Lion.

The only question is: where have you seen the bones of a sphinx :D?
