What makes you so upset?

Good porridge™ is capable of breaking down tar at the subatomic level and cleaning itself, as it contains its own ecosystem with phytoplankton. But in general, to be honest, when I mentioned porridge, I meant it as a figurative comparison. I didn't think that this context would be interpreted so literally and poorly.
