I'm not even sure, after reading your post, whether you've actually used the random map generator, or are just repeating other people's words without understanding their meaning. The random map generator is called that because it generates RANDOM maps, which contain a lot of unexpected surprises (both pleasant and unpleasant), which makes the game even more exciting. But spending hours creating something unplayable in the editor, and something you already know inside and out... No, there are, of course, professionals, but even they create maps more for others than for themselves.
Regarding saving time: if you want to save time, then it's better not to play games at all.

Okay, tomorrow I'll do an express test of maps created in the random map generator. I'll open them through the editor. But I want to say now that an interesting map cannot be created in the generator - the random arrangement of identical objects according to several templates set by the developers will not be original. Irdis Evalle provided perhaps the most interesting example for a map from the random map generator.

I can confidently say that even a mediocre map takes at least a week to create :o. And it definitely won't be possible to play it afterwards. Mapmaking is primarily for the community. But I wouldn't say that this is an unpleasant activity. In a way, it's also a game :).

Not the case. Will you, yourself, stop playing computer games in order not to waste time in vain :rolleyes:? After all, it's a useless activity that doesn't develop either the mind or the body :rolleyes::).
