After descending into the mine, the heroes found what they were looking for – ore, lots of ore. However, in addition to the ore, the mine was swarming with an army of undead that had taken up residence there. A lich commanded them, and he was assisted by four generals. The ancient villain tried to bribe Tallin with power and treasures, but he was in no hurry to join the undead army and began the attack. The battle was long and hard, but the army of humans and dwarves was able to defeat their enemy. When the lich was surrounded, he laughed maliciously and disappeared.
After clearing the mines, the dwarves were able to begin mining the ore, and meanwhile, Tallin and his men set off in pursuit of the undead villain.

Descending into the cave. Since the enemies were on both sides, I decided to split the army. The mad archmage led the troops north, and the dwarf leader led them east.

The foolish general emerged from the fort and quickly died.

His colleague was smarter, but it didn't save him.

On the right, the army under the command of the dwarf began to approach the lich, and to protect himself, he summoned a bunch of ghouls and corpses, which rose up around the entire perimeter of the moat (visible on the map). So, I immediately began to retreat.

Here is the lich himself and my retreat. A dwarf settled in the tower, who was supposed to cover the retreat, but he did too good a job and cut down quite a few enemies, which allowed him to survive and level up to level 3. However, I later moved him to a house so that he could heal from poison, because in the tower he might not have survived (although when a unit gains a level, it is fully healed, and considering that he was rarely hit in the tower...).
Then I regrouped and returned to give the lich a beating, after which he disappeared
