Yes, in a turn-based strategy, there is no difference between spearmen and swordsmen. Except for the design and, possibly, special abilities.

There will always be chaos on the forums. It has always been considered that war is purely a male affair, and even more so in the Middle Ages (Ashan is approximately at this level of development). And if three out of seven units are female, it makes you think :rolleyes:.
