In the first week, I blocked 20-49 Orcs, took the Sword Imp secondary town, and gained 5 Marks (totaling 25). I took the Rampart secondary town, realizing that the Grand Order is about roadless terrain. I didn't take the Fortress secondary town because I had things to do at home. I brought in Horses, bought +2 Speed for 75 Water Elementals, lost a Horse and 4 Swords there, and took another Sword Imp. Horses are in the Castle, and I gained +6 Marks thanks to Valeska reaching level 7.
In the second week, I took a Mini Hive, a Mini Medusa Lair, and went to the MaxiNagobank with a large stack, without magic, as I had no money. Ivor was already moving through the adjacent Rampart secondary town. I lost a Horse, 3 Vivs, and about 8 Swords there, but 12,000 gold allowed me to prepare for Ivor's arrival. I managed to buy a Golden Bow for under 50 gold with Vampires and settled in the Castle. Ivor attacks with 56 Elves, 3 Angels, a Unique unit, 12 Pegasi, 20+ Gnomes, Centaurs, and some Ancients. Since both of us have the Basic Tactics skill, and I was holed up in the garrison in a chaotic manner, 58 Marks successfully avoid being in the Angels' attack range. I kill all the Elves, Ivor pays 12,000 gold as a ransom, and I go to the Treasury in the adjacent Rampart secondary town. I manage to take a Mini Hive and a +5 Mace there. Ivor appears again with 5 Angels, I return from the Treasury, bring in some more Marks (totaling 70+), and attack. Ivor now has a more advanced Tactics skill, immediately sends 5 Angels, and destroys almost half (42 remain), while I wasn't even offered the Tactics skill, but they heavily boosted Earth magic. I cast Slow, and Ivor doesn't retreat.
Thanks, Igor, for the game!
