19.11.2010 SEM_56 (red, Tower, Aeon, Aeon) def Neverminder (blue, Rampart, Ivor, Grindar) jebuss cross 134
Took all the rest, no papa, Aeon takes Dwarf Cottage at 100 and 75, have Earth and Pathfinding, screw it)))
Took Giant external dwelling, on 2nd another 1...
On 2nd 2 Griffin Conservatories, 4 angels there, took 3 beehives for 22 Wyverns, Giants in the castle...
On 3rd took Necl, Grindar got pissed off, approached the capital and Town Portal back))
I go to the treasure zone, they intercept me during the rush, explosion to the kidneys, minus 5 drakes..
Then I attacked myself, since Grindar ran out of moves..
He casts Berserk on me, but miscalculated, I cast Cure on Nag, then Mass Slow, herd the opponent's troops together, an explosion kills all my Wyverns...
I cast Meteor Shower and finish everyone off, thanks for the game....
That happened. It was an interesting match, I don't regret losing at all, quite the opposite. It'll be a lesson. And basically, I had no moral right to win anyway after taking the auto on 115.
I started with Ivor - brought 4 Elves. The tavern had all sorts of junk, but then Grindan showed up. I decided to put him into the heroes right away. Even if he hits weakly, at least Mass Slow is guaranteed for the main hero, and no need to overthink. The respawn was quite inconvenient terrain-wise, many juicy objects (the Griffin Conservatory, for example, and the second Unicorn external dwelling) were located completely off the beaten path, and I didn't go to them at all. I took one secondary (Tower) on the third day, the second was blocked, and things just didn't work out. Oh well. I got enough gold anyway. I didn't even see the opponent's capital until the very end due to the block. Grindan got Expert Earth at level 3, took the Unicorn external dwelling. And I guess I got a bit hasty hitting 20-49 Knights for a Pandora's Box with 9 mana points and spell power 5 on 115. There were either 48 or 47 of them, basically, when Slow wore off, they beat the crap out of me. I asked for auto. I decided not to go for the Knights, and instead built a Mage Guild and sat down to replenish mana. At this time, a mini-Griffin Conservatory was discovered on the respawn; I took it on the seventh day with Grindan - now I have Haste, that's good. I dumped a thousand into the Tower and started building it up to Mage Guild level 5. At level 4, I got Berserk and Fire Shield, but I wasn't upset and built the Library on a whim: Town Portal! On the second week, I took two Pandora's Boxes for 10000 experience each and decided to go for the opponent's capital. Papa with Intelligence and decent spell power. The opponent's capital turned out to have Monks. Well, I can't say I played the battle brilliantly, but it was okay, just killed too many Unicorns, should have fed the Centaurs to them instead. Then there was a road block of 10-19 Giants guarding the Speaker's Hat. My Lightning Bolt hit for 275 and Fireball for 105 - dealt with the Giants too. The Castle in the treasure zone turned out to be a Dungeon, very convenient. On day 126, I holed up there, building a Mage Guild. No sign of the red player, which was strange. On day 127, I build a Mana Vortex in the Dungeon - 400 points. I go wandering in the treasure zone, stumble upon Necromancy Horses guarding two Pandora's Boxes. I attack - then curse. Forgot to wear the hat. Luckily, the spellbook had the Destroy Undead spell dealing 150 damage to each horse. One Pandora gave 5 Red Dragons, the second gave 5000 experience. Then a Lott's Oxen guarded the Sword of Justice. This time I didn't forget to put on the hat.
On day 131, I break the red player's capital (regular Wyverns), run to his respawn, kill Medusas there for the Library of Enlightenment. The next day, using View Earth, I find out where the capital is - Dimension Door there, but Aeon is sitting there. I should have attacked, as it turned out, but I got scared. Town Portal back to the Dungeon. Then I see Aeon on Angels, I attack. I think for a long time about what to cast, end up casting nothing, in response I get an explosion on the reds and a retreat. And then my atrociously played final battle, already described above. Thanks for the thrilling duel!
