I think I already wrote to newcomers that after each game, you get a certain amount of experience. It's desirable, of course, to play against a stronger opponent. Or, in my opinion, a good option for beginners is to alternate games with a strong player and then with someone of equal skill. Physical skill, advice from stronger players, and desire – that's all it takes to reach an average level over time. But becoming a strong player is more difficult, and at some point, training plays less of a role, and the process of game strategy itself, or rather, intellect, becomes more important.
