Seems like a regular Jebus Cross, maybe he set the monster strength lower?

He plays not bad, but it's really unclear why he didn't upgrade.. And why did he need those genies anyway.. At one time I myself managed without upgrading - but there were several external dwellings of giants - I wanted to have them in the Castle, even though there wasn't much point - mages are quite decent in terms of power, and if a cart happens to come along - you can even take on some serious walkers:).
