The mages keep casting speed spells on their units, and I can only move once every three turns, and they destroy me in that time:mad:
I tried to capture the other castles, but while I'm doing that, they capture mine...
and I need the Academy castles like a walrus needs scuba gear...

Well, I wouldn't say that - the Academy cities provide a stable income and have artifact shops (and you can collect a complete dragon set that way). Personally, I captured Shahidiya on the 14th day - by that time, I had 2 Orcish cities with the Tear of Ashtar, 1 Necropolis, and 1 Knight castle, and 3 Academy castles.
