Let's first figure out what kind of unit it will be, and then come up with its characteristics.
Perhaps we don't need more types of damage (besides physical and magical) in "Heroes." KB has a lot of trouble with this: because of fire damage, Cold Resistance is ineffective against demons there :(.
Two plus two . Just hope they don't come up with calling two-headed dogs Cerberuses :(.
Why can only creatures have immunity in a few percent (with exceptions)?
They've already been named... On Facebook, they're called hellhounds/Cerberuses in the title.

No, the speed of creatures should be limited. I think the best option is when there are two squares left to the farthest point on the other side of the field: you can defeat large creatures, but you can't reach all the others :).
And still, I prefer the system of two types of damage - physical and magical. Perhaps astral damage could be added, which would hit everyone equally, but no more. If elemental damage is used, it should only be for spells (which is partially implemented for necromancers), not for troops :).
Then the system will become boring and monotonous, but I like the elemental damage in KB.
