Where did you find the imbalance?! In the 4th part, I see the imbalance in the "Mind Control" spell, which lasts for a whole 3 turns!

And what prevented you from not taking dragons against demons?!
No, the speed of creatures should be limited. I think the best option is when there are two squares left to the farthest point on the other side of the field: you can defeat large creatures, but you can't reach all the others :).
And what prevented you from dispelling the "Hypnosis" spell? In the 5th part, its duration depends on the magic skill, so it can be 10 or 20 turns . Would you not dispel the spell in such situations?
What, are you suggesting discarding the strongest creature?! They cost me a lot, and even half of their damage (against demons - half) deals more damage than most other level 5 creatures (there are only five levels)! Moreover, almost all other troops are, on the contrary, vulnerable to fire, especially ents with thorns. So this is unfounded :).
And yet, I still prefer the system with two types of damage - physical and magical. Perhaps astral damage could be added, which would deal the same damage to everyone, but no more. If damage is done by elements, then only to spells (which is partially implemented in the necromancer faction), not to troops :).
