Here's an example to illustrate how the paralysis spell immobilizes enemy troops, and the battle ends before it even begins. I created this quickly today without any preparation. The start wasn't very successful – I didn't properly position the troops before the battle. And the second one, included in the archive, is a replay – it's a "beat up the nasty elf" scenario when he had the audacity to attack me in my city. I would have completely crushed him, but the cowardly jerk ran away. I really regret that his friend didn't give him all the dragons (he only had 200 when he attacked, and 50 were "in reserve" with his friend), by the way, his friend won't live much longer either.
