A zombie is an undead creature. It was a living, animate being. Therefore, it fits the definition of undead. The meat on the plate was also alive, so it's the meat of a dead person, a corpse. But that doesn't make it any less appetizing :).
Well, a zombie doesn't always imply a dead person; a zombie is a person who has lost control of their mind and obeys someone else's orders. And undead doesn't necessarily mean dead; for example, you absolutely know that the word "undead" in Ukrainian means a runny nose. And you're exaggerating about the meat; the meat wasn't alive. The owner of that meat was alive.
