Neither do long braids, tattoos, or gold plating on armor. But horns grow over time; they look more organic and natural.

they also have no visual appeal. all units look good only in their original form, and upgrades are terrible in most cases.

That's just your opinion. Although, of course, it does have some merit in relation to the Haven warriors.

Perhaps there will be an ability called "polish horns."
