A buggy map was generated; I didn't reach the tree on either my main or secondary base. The only external market helped, and I somehow managed to build houses up to level 6 in the castle on the first turn.
On the second turn, I took an adjacent secondary Castle and ran towards the enemy. Edric came out to meet me, Kirr forced him to retreat, and on the next turn, she captured the enemy's castle.
