Okay, I found where it mentioned the sphinxes. It turns out that for the first time in the Heroes series, there won't be bone dragons. Honestly, I'm not too upset about it; I never really liked them much (except in Heroes IV, where they were pretty cool). It's a shame they didn't bring back the dead knights, though.
