Why specifically elves? Spy of Elrath :D, he's checking on his little angel children, although the Daughters of Light are somehow better, and would be a good replacement for the monks.

Yes, the Daughters of Light really fit well as daughters of Elrath. Although monks also looked very good as spreaders of faith in Elrath. Oh well. Let's discuss it further when the full roster of the race is officially announced.

And still, it's unclear why they would be spies? Maybe they are just observers and helpers: how could you not notice SOMETHING like that above your head?
