Why don't you like them? Please explain.

The described type of elves exudes pretentiousness, and moreover, these characters usually suffer from the Mary Sue syndrome and are generally extremely boring and flat characters. It is also worth considering the fact that my worldview is Neutral Evil, which implies a dislike for all kinds of "Good" characters.
But I like other types of elves, for example, elves from TES, elves from the first Majesty, elves from Thedas, and other varieties of pointy-eared creatures that do not fall under the characteristics of "universal good."
