And if there is an underground faction, it won't be a curiosity or a tech tree, but 90% likely it will be the Faceless Ones. Although, you could add a couple of old monsters to them, as if they "went extinct" (for example, troglodytes, which, in my opinion, are suitable for the Faceless Ones, and could be a three- or four-level creature).
