I don't remember any "idealistic and materialistic viewpoints on the origin of life on Earth," you must be mistaken. Science, in principle, deals with the material; the only theory out of many that doesn't rely on physics is the theological one.

I just don't feel like writing it myself. And we discussed this topic in philosophy and even in economics: O, although in economics, the question was about the values of life, which are higher... or about the spheres that have the greatest influence on life. There were four of them, I think, but I don't remember exactly: spiritual, economic, social, and political.
